Seal Consulting > Occupational Health and Safety > ISO 37301 – Compliance Management System

Scope:
ISO 37301 is a management system standard that enables organizations to systematically manage compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements. The system infrastructure established within this scope includes the identification of compliance risks, monitoring of applicable legislation, development of policies and procedures, training and awareness activities, whistleblowing mechanisms, and internal audit processes. In this way, a sustainable and effective compliance culture is established across the organization.

Benefits:
It reduces legal and regulatory risks. Corporate reputation and trustworthiness are enhanced. Compliance processes become systematic, making audit readiness easier. Ethical awareness among employees is improved, and the risk of violations is minimized. At the same time, it provides the advantage of being a reliable business partner in international collaborations.

Regulations:
The system infrastructure established under ISO 37301 enables integrated management of compliance with a wide range of regulations in Türkiye and the European Union. In Türkiye, key obligations include compliance, transparency, data protection, and ethical requirements under the Turkish Commercial Code, Turkish Penal Code, Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), and Capital Markets Law. In addition, regulations issued by the Capital Markets Board (SPK), the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK), and the Competition Authority play a critical role in compliance processes. In the European Union, obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) define requirements for compliance, transparency, and reporting.

Through the ISO 37301 framework, organizations centrally monitor regulatory requirements, assess compliance risks, implement control mechanisms, and continuously evaluate compliance performance through audits. This structure enables the unified management of multiple regulatory frameworks, ensuring sustainable and effective compliance with both national and international requirements.
